Fallen Tear: The Ascension Fated Bonds
22 Bonds. First one is required-feeling. 100% of them is 0.3% of Steam. Goals claiming is still buggy in 1.0.1.
Fated Bonds are party members with their own talents, quests, and a trust meter. Official store copy: 22 of them. The achievement "Fated Connections" is "Unlocked All of the Fated Bonds" — 0.3% of players as of 26 September 2026. Do not expect to collect the set in a weekend.
What a Bond actually does
From the official site and store, not from guesswork:
- Each Bond has a Talent you use in the field.
- Raising Trust makes that Talent stronger and unlocks Ascensions tied to Hira.
- Bonds have their own story lines. Skipping them is skipping a chunk of the campaign.
Steam players are already stuck on affinity points and a missing scholar. That is a 1.0 player problem, not a wiki rumor. If you are one affinity short, you are looking for a named NPC, not a hidden stat bug — unless a later patch says otherwise.
Fated Goals
"Legend of the Land" is "Complete 100% of the Fated Goals" (0.4%). Patch 1.0.1's own notes say claiming and using Fated Goals still needs work. If a Goal looks claimed but does nothing, that matches the studio list. Log it; do not smash your save.

Do Bonds replace your weapon? No. Hira still swings the Korr blade. Bonds add Talents and Ascensions on top.
Can I finish the story with one Bond? The first Bond achievement sits at 61%. All Bonds sits at 0.3%. The campaign does not wait for the full set.
